Located on the Maenam-Tendong Ridge, this must-see destination is also a location to observe medicinal plants and herbs. The asylum occupies a region of 36.34 sq km and is located at a height of around 10,600 feet. For those who enjoy the opportunity to enjoy spending time in nature, this location is ideal. In Namchi, there is a fascinating sanctuary called Maenam. To witness the budding Rhododendron flowers, April through July is the finest time to visit Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary. Numerous bird species, including the Black-necked Crane, Grus nigricollis, Gray Peacock Pheasant, Himalayan Monal Pheasant, Blood Pheasant, Satyr Tragopan, Tibetan Snow Cock, and Himalayan Snow Cock, may also be seen in the amusement facility. This national park at a high altitude in Yuksom is renowned for its astounding wild life, where fascinating animal species including the Red Panda, Snow Leopard, Great Tibetan Sheep, Bharal, Musk deer, and others may be seen. These beautiful birds are hunted both for food and for their feathers. They are often found in pairs or small groups. These birds will spend most of their day foraging for food on the forest floor, their long curved beaks make them excellent diggers and they can dig up to 10 inches under the ground. The males are a spectacular combination of 12 iridescent colours whilst females are a duller, earthy brown. This beautifully colourful pheasant is the national bird of Nepal. Working in such a range of disciplines has given me the chance to explore what I really love about the medium of video. In commerical work and fiction, it’s telling stories.
